About

The Centre for Student Life is home to our free, impartial and confidential support services. Whether you’re looking for advice about money, help with your health and wellbeing, or information about careers and employment, our Student Life teams are on hand to help.

As well as being home to our Student Life services, the Centre for Student Life features our newest and largest lecture theatre, and lots of open plan social study spaces over five floors. The building is for all students, designed with your experience in mind.

During term-time the Centre for Student Life is open:

• Monday to Friday 08:00 to 22:00
• Saturday 08:00 to 20:00
• Sunday 10:00 to 20:00.

If you would like to access the building after 18:00 you will need to update your student ID card to gain access. Find out where you can update your ID card

Accessibility information

Parking

We have a range of flexible arrangements for Staff parking and Student parking on campus.

Bicycle parking

There are 62 cycle bicycle parking spaces available. This includes 8 Sheffield Cycle rack spaces, and 54 vertical cycle spaces.

Shower and changing facilities

There are 4 male showers, 3 female showers, 1 accessible shower and 1 Changing Places Toilet available on the ground floor.

Drinking fountain locations

Help us to reduce single use plastic by refilling your water bottle at one of our drinking fountains:

• Ground floor - North end of the building
• 1st floor - North end of the building
• 2nd floor - North end of the building
• 3rd floor - North end of the building
• 4th floor - North end of the building
